We had a total lunar eclipse on 10-27-2004 and it was pretty cool. The moon literally turned a orange-red color. It looked a lot cooler in person than my pictures would lead you to believe.

My photos turned out kind of blurry and rough. The first was done freehand and the second was done leaning on the back of the car for support. Considering that they were done on a basic digital camera with no tripod they came out OK. Listening to the exposure time, though, I really need a tripod next time I want to do this. :-)
